How did you first become involved in real estate?
In 2020 I graduated from the University of Windsor with a business degree and no idea what I wanted to do with my education. I enjoyed all areas of business and struggled to settle into just one. I was looking for a career that encouraged lifelong learning & development.
I moved to Vancouver Island and started to pursue my real estate license. Real estate seemed like a good fit for me as it aligned with what I was good at and what made me happy. While I was taking my licensing course I did some reception work at RE/MAX and eventually found my way over to John Cooper & Associates.
Can you provide an overview of your journey in the real estate industry?
My journey in real estate has been unique and anything but straightforward. I started my journey very unsure of what I wanted. Since joining John’s team in 2021, I have been privileged with some incredible experiences that have helped me discover who I am.
John has introduced me to his mentors and coaches helping me advance my skills at an accelerated pace. He introduced me to “Traction” and the “EOS Toolbox” which are tools that I live by today.
Very early in my career, John picked up on my passion for operations and he encouraged me to pursue it. Not only did he allow me to explore every aspect of his business, but he also took me to an incredible boot camp in San Diego to help me hone my skills. This was a pivotal moment for me.
Today, I work as a Licensed Operations Manager at John Cooper & Associates. A role I never thought I would have, but I truly love. I am beyond grateful for the support and opportunities I have received so far during my career and am so excited to see what the future holds.
What principles shape your approach in the real estate world?
Nothing is more important to me than systems and processes. I believe that the key to success lies in being strategic and organized. I can make promises to clients and follow through every time because of the systems and processes I have in place.
Accountability is another core value. Without accountability, nothing gets done.
What about being in real estate makes you the happiest?
Being in real estate makes me happy because it is such a dynamic industry. It’s impossible to get bored. There is always something new to learn.

Beyond your professional life, what are some of your interests or hobbies?
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the beauty of Vancouver Island, reading, yoga, and cooking.
