Last week Nanaimo saw 21 single family homes get introduced to the market. This was a decrease from the previous week’s total of 32. Sales were slightly lower this week, compared to last, with 15 single family homes selling in Nanaimo last week. This was down from 19 sales in the previous week.

Average days to sell is 56 days. Lot sales volume is down 4%. Lot prices have increased by 8%, 12 months to date. Average lot sale price: $478,171.

Average days on market increased by 11% to 42 days. The average condo sold for $440,806. Condo unit sales are up 2%, 12 months to date. Condos have seen no change in days on market. Average days to sell is 48 days. The average row/townhouse sold for $567,090. Row/townhouse unit sales are decreased by 8%, 12 months to date. Row/townhouses have seen a decrease of 5% in days on market. Average days to sell is 41 days. Lot sales volume has seen no change. Lot prices have decreased by 14%, 12 months to date. 34 single-family homes sold. Average price: $958,003 (down 1% from 12 months to date, this year over last). Single-family unit sales volume is up 4%. Average days on market decrease by 7% to 39 days. The average condo sold for $507,202. Condo unit sales are decreased by 36%, 12 months to date. Condos have seen a decrease of 17% in days on market. Average days to sell is 45 days.
