I like to start by outlining the best value based on $/sqft. The 3 best value homes listed this week are 5375 Bayshore Dr a 5 bed, 4 bath, 4,963 sqft North Nanaimo home listed for $1,225,000 ($247/sqft), 1207 Thunderbird Dr a 5 bed, 2 bath, 2,516 sqft Central Nanaimo home listed for $719,000 ($286/sqft), 815 Oakley St a 4 bed, 1 bath, 1,944 sqft Central Nanaimo home listed for $567,900 ($292/sqft).

The 3 homes listed this week with the highest $/sqft are 7971 Superior Rd a 4 bed, 3 bath, 2,016 sqft Upper Lantzville home listed for $3,450,000 ($1,711/sqft), 1303 Junction Ave a 3 bed, 2 bath, 2,337 sqft Chase River home listed for $2,500,000 ($1,070/sqft), 1323 Wexford Rd a 3 bed, 2 bath, 870 sqft Chase River home listed for $799,999 ($920/sqft).

Notable New Sales.
The 3 buyers that secured the largest discounts this week are the buyers of  998 Douglas Ave secured a 9% discount off the $949,900 asking price (sale price $868,000). The buyers of 9 Machleary St secured a 7% discount off the $664,900 asking price (sale price $618,000). The buyers of 5861 Brigantine Dr secured a 5% discount off the $919,800 asking price (sale price $870,000).

This week is John’s life

This week we introduced several properties to market, including this beautiful patio home in Hammond Bay (video here). I had the pleasure of touring an incredible estate on Lake Cowichan (video here). Next week we have 3 new properties going live, including a home with a suite and a shop for under $750,000, a character home in Central Nanaimo for under $600,000 and a 2 level townhome for under $300,000.
