Weekly Real Estate Take [March 2024 - Week 5]
There have been 17 new single-family home sales in the last 7 days, down from 25 sales last week. There have been 64 new single-family homes listed in Nanaimo. This is the highest number of new listings in 1 week that we have seen in the last 6 months. The next 12 weeks will likely see the highest number of weekly listings for 2024. This is good news for buyers who have been uninspired by the low inventory.

The buyers of 3504 Berton Rd secured a 4% discount off the $1,598,000 asking price (sale price $1,534,040).

This Week in My Life
Professionally, we sold 3 homes this week and had accepted offers on 3 of our listings (IG post here). I had 5 seller consultations and onboarded 3 new buyer clients this week. We have 14 new listings that we will be introducing to the market in the next 2 weeks! We introduced 182 Ohara Place to the market on Monday this week (video here). The team has been performing very well this month and I am very excited about what we can achieve in 2024 (IG post here).
Personally, I had an inspiring visit with my dad on Saturday (IG post here). I spent Sunday in Vancouver with my girls doing some exploring and shopping and caught the most incredible sunset on our Hullo ferry ride home (IG video here). While I was in White Rock I attended 2 classes at The Yoga Bar and was introduced to 2 very unique yoga-inspired fitness classes (IG post here).
