Market Update

New listings have held steady this week, with 37 single-family homes being introduced to the Nanaimo market in the last 7 days. The most impactful change has been the number of reported sales. Spring has arrived early this year. Home sales have doubled in the last week, with 19 homes selling in the last 7 days, up from 10 last week. My team has been extremely active this week. If this trend continues, we can expect a very busy spring market in Nanaimo.

I like to start by outlining the best value based on $/sqft. The 3 buyers that secured the largest discounts this week are the buyers of  2875 Elk St who secured a 40% discount off the $875,000 asking price (sale price $525,000). This Week in John’s Life

This week we had 4 accepted offers and introduced 2 new properties to the market, including a townhouse in South Nanaimo (video here) and a gorgeous rancher in Qualicum Beach (video here). Next week we will be introducing a waterfront development project along with a north end condo.
